I remember going into grade 4 at  King George School in Saskatchewan, thinking I was such a big girl now.  I was going to be able to use a pen and ink and learn to write instead of print.  It was such a prize to me to learn to write in longhand.  And now, with so much space in front of me to write in.  Wow!  Is it important if anything I write is read by anyone other than me?  And if not, why would I write it?  I've decided it is important.

Sadly, people, with all of the advancement in the fields of technology, industry, communciations, science, medicine, agriculture, we still cannot seem to create equal opportunity food availability.  What's that?
